My Scooter

Riley has learned a couple new things in the past couple of weeks. I have been trying to capture on of these on video. Every parent knows how it goes, the kids are doing something cute, you run and grab the camera and by the time you get back, they are doing something else. Riley now sweeps the floor for me. We will call it the "Air Force Crawl" (since dad is Air Force, but they probably have a better crawl). This video is a couple days ago. I was able to catch it again today, and his crawl has changed a bit. Now he gets his but up in the air as he scoots. He has gotten on all fours several times and rocked. I expect any day now that he will go from my scooter and broom to my "atv" where he crawls over anything and everything (he is working hard on that now).

Riley shocked me a couple days ago when I went to get him out of bed from a nap. I walk into the boys' room and look at Riley, and he is sitting there, smiling back! I love it. It's so fun to watch him go all over the house, then sit up. I can't believe how fast they grow and learn. Riley is even trying hard to hold his own against JJ.

Oh, and notice the tongue. That is something unique to my boys. Both have done it at this age, and we didn't start it.
