JJ's New Skills

JJ has figured out how to open the doors in our house. All the door knobs are the same in our house, so once he figured one out, he figured them all out. We are lucky that the doors to outside have dead bolts. But he has figured those out too, sort of. Luckily he can only reach those if he stands on a chair. And he is often found moving those around the kitchen to reach something. Despite that we have to always make sure we have the doors locked, it is kind of cute to watch JJ run to the door when Jamie goes back to work after lunch. JJ has figured out the "signs" that mean someone is leaving and is in a hurry to open the door first.
JJ is looking out at our dog, Cocoa.


It is so fun to watch these kids grow an learn. But I am greatful that I only have to go through the "climbing on everything" stage one more time.
