Still Behind...But School Started

I am still trying to catch up.  Doing a poor job at it too, sorry.

But another school started in September.  And with it, Andrea started Kindergarten, and couldn't be happier.  She is doing well and can't get enough.  The curriculum is a lot different in Oregon then it was in Idaho.  I can't say which is better, because the girls are so different.  But I think that Andrea's class is more like I remember kindergarten being, and think it should be.
Samantha went into third grade.  This picture was a couple days into the school year.

The girls mostly enjoy being in school together.  Andrea is in a hurry to grow up and most days wants to walk out to the car by herself.  This leaves Samantha a bit disappointed because she loves sharing everything she can about school with her sister.  Sometimes they see each other in passing, and can't wait to tell me about it.

Riley still grants me the privilege of a nap most afternoons.  He usually sleeps from as soon as we get back from taking Andrea to school, until the time to leave to get the girls.  He has now turned into my alarm clock for when it's  time to leave.

I think JJ enjoys his little bit of solo time.  Some times we snuggle, watch tv, play, or he helps me with my chores.

I have really enjoyed having two kids in school this year, but look forward to next year when we don't have half day kindergarten.  I kind of screws up the day.  I am afraid to do to much in the morning for fear of missing lunch or getting her to school on time.
