Summer = Water Slide

Summer around these parts means the water slide at Grandma and Grandpa Orr's house.  The girls can't wait to get out there and start sliding, it's all we can do to keep them calm till after lunch when the shade is gone and it is hot enough that they won't freeze from that fresh, cold spring water.

 Riley got brave enough this year to try the slide out, a bit.  But he waited till the big kids were taking a break and not splashing.

But, this is how the boys spent most of their time, playing on cars, playing on the swing set, and playing in the sand box.

And, JJ managed to get the first bee sting for the kids.  See the band aid on his arm in the picture to the right?  Luckily, Grandma mad a past out of baking soda and water and it soothed the sting quickly.

The kids had just as much fun on the slide when the water was off, drained, and the slide was mostly dry.  Even JJ was brave enough.
